Victory for TMS

The Annual Prize Day is a special occasion hosted by the school for one sole purpose; celebration. This celebration highlights the achievements and outstanding academic as well as extra-curricular performance of students and the commendable results and execution of work by the teachers.

The Annual Prize Day for the academic year 2021-2022 was observed on the 25th of June and was based on the Latin expression- ‘Amat Victoria Curam’ which means ‘Victory Loves Preparation’.

The parents, chief guests and students were warmly welcomed to the celebration with a beautiful opening dance. The story showed life before, during, and after the pandemic, leaving everyone awestruck at the end. Soon after, we were addressed by our Principal, Ms. Ambika Gulati and she presented us with TMS’s exceptional annual report. This was followed by an address from our Chief Guest, Ms. Nargish Khambatta. Eventually, it was the moment which was much awaited, prize distribution.

Awards like General Proficiency, Principal’s Special Award, Duke of Edinburgh‘s Award, Outstanding Performance Award, House Trophies, Best Pupil-Teacher Award, Best Teacher Award, etc. were presented to students and teachers accordingly. As an interval between the distribution of prizes, the choir delivered a rejuvenating performance of ‘Come Alive’, a song from the movie ‘The Greatest Showman’.

To conclude the evening, there was a dance choreography titled ‘Jashn-e-Hind’ in which traditional dances were presented with a modern twist from different states around India. This was closely followed by a vote of thanks.

The Annual Prize Day was made memorable for everyone, all thanks to the efforts put in by the students, and the TMS staff. Kudos!
