Inter School Swimming Gala

The 15th inter-school swimming gala that took place on 7th December included participants from several schools. There was a total of five age groups and events. The age groups were under eight, under ten, under twelve, under fourteen, under sixteen, and under nineteen. The categories were Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle and 4x25m Freestyle Relay. There were also individual events that were 25m for the under 8 category and 50m for the rest. We had numerous winners from TMS under each category.

In under nineteen, Nithya Viswanathan (12E) won gold in relay and silver in backstroke and butterfly. Shreyah Jain (11E) won gold in freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly, and relay and is also the individual champion in her category. Mrida Hingmire (12A) won gold in relay and backstroke and silver in freestyle and breaststroke

In under sixteen, Risha Sanjay (10B) won gold in the relay. Suvali Shetty (10A) won gold in 50m butterfly, breaststroke, and relay, and silver in backstroke who is also the individual champion in her category. Kopal Rai won gold in freestyle, backstroke, and relay. Ananya Pradeep won gold in Relay and silver in breaststroke

TMS came first as the overall champion followed by DPS, Sharjah who were the runners-up. An exemplary job was done by all of our swimmers from every category, Congratulations to all our winners!
