Pupil Teacher Award

Updated: Nov 1, 2022

The Millennium School holds a ‘pupil teacher award’ annually, in which, twelfth-grade students undertake teaching duties under the supervision of teachers in the form of a competition. This initiative serves a myriad of advantages like equipping young pupil teachers with classroom management skills.

The pupil-teacher award for this year was carried out in two phases. The preliminary level of selection took place earlier this year in June 2022. Each candidate had one period to teach a topic from a particular subject to their designated high school class. Through this round of selection, a set of finalists were nominated from several criteria which would then move on to the next phase of the award.

The final phase of the pupil-teacher award took place over the month

of September 2022. The finalists once again had to teach their respective classes a certain lesson for an entire period.

After consideration the winner of the pupil-teacher award was announced in early October, the winner being Manasvi Promod of 12E.

Congrats to

Manasvi Promod.
