The annual Inter-House Music Competition conducted by the Cultural Committee of TMS is an event that gives senior school musicians a stage where their talents can be expressed and appreciated. It took place separately for grades 11-12 and 9-10 on the 12th and 19th of May respectively, with each house sending representatives in seven different categories: Western Vocals, Indian Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard/Piano, Violin, Drums, and Group Vocals.

Students watching the event were treated to novel arrangements of their favorite music, ranging from moving renditions of musicals to energetic rock songs. Participants were graded based on complexity and precision by the judges, including the former drummer of Dark Unicorns, one of TMS’s senior bands from over the years. To ease the wait, the guest judge delivered an enthralling drum solo as scores were being tabulated. In the end, Autumn emerged as the victors of the competition with 24 points, followed closely by Spring with 22 points and Summer with 20 points. We congratulate all the participants and thank all the students and staff members who made this program a huge success!
