Earth Day

Every year on April 22, Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. The official theme for 2022 is Invest In Our Planet. TMS is no stranger to the occasion, as we celebrate the 52nd year since its inauguration. The students of the senior school conducted presentations in the middle and senior school classes, hoping to spread awareness about the significance of the day. Breaking the stigma surrounding the mundane nature of environment talks, and incorporating fun into a topic that would’ve otherwise been considered boring is an effective way to appeal to the youth. In the end, the students took a pledge to work towards protecting and preserving the environment and taking the necessary precautionary measures to ensure sustainability.
