A Part of the Solution

The future of our planet is at stake, and the future generation of global citizens is our best hope of mending it. It calls for inclusive platforms for discussion, one of which was provided by the School Conference of Parties Exposition 2022 (SCOPE 2022) held at GEMS Legacy School on 17 November.

The conference, established in 2020, provides numerous collaborative activities based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This year’s edition was the first hybrid session of the summit and saw participation from 22 schools across the UAE and abroad.

Students brought the venue to life as they exchanged views and ideas on sustainable fashion, climate change research, product design, and more. The effort and perseverance participants showed during the event were duly rewarded with prizes, and TMS is the proud recipient of several of these accolades across the categories SCOPE-Ed (English), SCOPE-Ed (Arabic), Sustain that Diet, and Scope Delegation. Congratulations to team TMS for their fantastic performance!
