Everyone has a dream, but few have the resilience and courage to bring it to life. TMS has long had a culture of raising young leaders with these qualities, and this academic year’s student council is no exception. The Investiture Ceremony, held on 18th April, marks the culmination of their hard work as the mantle of leadership is

officially transferred.

The ceremony began with the majestic march of the Guard of Honor; two orderly lines of blazers in perfect sync. Following the prayer and a recitation from the Holy Quran was a speech by the Principal, urging and inspiring the prefects to change the school for the better. Thus began the solemnity of the event as the Oath of Office was administered, binding them to honor their duty towards the school and their peers

. Club leadership teams, sports captains & house prefects received badges, their flags fluttering proudly on stage. A nasheed performed by the choir punctuated the proceedings and lightened the mood with its soulful lyrics. As the event drew to a close, the newly inducted prefectorial board assembled on stage for a final glorious display before the Guard of Honor filed out of the auditorium the same way they entered, except they bore the insignia of their positions this time.

The clicks of shutters and the flashes of cameras filled the quadrangle as parents and students commemorated the prestigious event. After all, it was a new beginning for the school and the dawn of a new journey to success.
