And So The Journey Begins

Bidding adieu to your childhood and embarking on adult life is never an easy process. It is a rough journey with ups and downs leaving a person with a lot to learn, in a short amount of time. That is why, on 30th April 2023 it was beyond important that the recently passed out grade 12, get a proper sendoff, encouraging them for the future and thanking them for the past.

This spectacular event was carried out by grade 11 of the academic year 2022-23 all the way from decorations to entertainment. What was special about this event was that it featured Mrs. Lini Shivaprasad, our former Vice Principal, who no doubt had a remarkable impact on the lives of the pass-outs. This batch truly had gone through a lot, more than any other batch at TMS. They were the only ones who did not have to appear for their grade 10 boards. They were trendsetters too, being the first to carry out the new leadership system which replaced positions of head boy and head girl with an opportunistic and fair system. They are also the first batch to receive their Farewell after their board exams and not before.

The event itself was based on the theme 'Retro' and constituted of several dances and singing performances by both grade 11 and 12. The talent displayed was stunning and it was evident that everyone present thoroughly enjoyed it.

Finally, the event came to a bittersweet end as we came to the realization that we would not be seeing these students again for a long, long time. Nevertheless, they will always be welcome at this school, and they will forever be a part of the TMS family. We should not feel too glum either, for this is only a switch in lanes and the journey has only begun…
