Iftar Party

Ramadan is a significant Holy month in the Islamic calendar. The annual Iftar party at TMS is what completes Ramadan for its students. This year, the Iftar party took place on Thursday, April 6th. The evening began with a recitation from the Holy Quran. What made this year’s iftar party memorable was the two guest speakers who joined us that evening. Ms. Fida and Mr. Fahad are also alumni of our school. Ms. Fida first engaged the audience with an interactive talk about her experiences as a student during Ramadan. This was followed by a soulful Nasheed by Mr Fahad which lit up the evening. The options for food were almost endless, including the food catered by the school as well as the food bought in by students. There was an incredible variety catering to any dietary specifications one may have had. Arrangements were made so that everyone could offer their prayers and thus another remarkable evening at TMS came to an end.
