Unlocking the Potential of Ordinary Moments

TEDx, as many of you know, is a gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community, school, and locality. On October 28, 2023, our school hosted an inspiring TEDx event centered around the theme "The Power of the Ordinary."

Ten remarkable students, five from our school and five more from different schools, took the stage to share their personal insights on the topic. The event kickstarted with a few ground rules and directly plunged into the topic. The speakers eloquently explained how keeping an open mind has shaped their perspectives and highlighted the profound impact that "ordinary" people have on our daily lives and society at large. Throughout the time, the audience was attentively listening and responding with a show of hands to all the questions asked by fellow speakers. Our school choir added a musical touch, creating a moment of reflection and unity, followed by the remaining speakers sharing their insightful experiences and information. Our guest speaker, Mrs. Edwina Rodrigues, also offered her perspective on the theme. She emphasized the importance of approaching each day of the week with a positive outlook and how Monday blues can feel like a challenge, but finding power in the ordinary moments can make the journey more meaningful. Our Principal, Mrs. Ambika Gulati, delivered an enlightening concluding speech, lauding the event's success and participants.

It concluded with a heartwarming gesture and a brief photography session to honor our talented speakers.
