Martyrs' Day

On January 30, 2023, we observe Martyrs' Day or Shaheed Diwas to pay tribute to all the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India. The day also marks the death anniversary of the nation's 'Bapu', Mahatma Gandhi. The significance of Shaheed Diwas lies in the fact that Mahatma Gandhi, who is known as the 'Father of the Nation', led major movements against British rule through a non-violent approach. On this day, we remember the sacrifices of all the freedom fighters who gave their lives for the country, and pay homage to the great leader Mahatma Gandhi, who inspired millions of people with his principles of non-violence and truth.
