Teaching Grandma To Use A Smartphone

My grandma is as old as time,

The world’s moving forward but she’s stuck in her timeline.

This week’s goal is very whacky,

Let's make my grandma smartphone savvy!

Let's start with what she knows,

It's not much and that clearly shows.

She’s having mixed feelings and wants to quit already,

The kitchen being empty is her actual worry.

Its the next day with no progress,

For her, my goal is complete nonsense.

She’s 71 but acts so small,

And continues to hit the wall.

Over time she completed baby steps,

Now she thinks she’s the best.

She thinks smartphones are second to none,

I drop a bombshell of ‘We’ve just begun’.

Time flies, it truly does,

She was no longer in a fuzz.

After a month, I achieve my goal but reality hits,

It's truly hard, to teach an old dog new tricks.
