Graduation

Graduation, is one of the most important events in a student’s life, something they have been working towards for fourteen of their lives. And on 19th January 2024, we saw the batch of 2024 graduates, gracing the stage for the last time.

We started with the UAE national anthem with the performing of the same in Emirati Sign Language. Following this was the Quran recitation. Then we had dances that can only be described as flawless and elegant.

Then we had the principal’s address, where Ambika Ma’am for the last time in their academic journey shared words of wisdom, encouragement, and optimism to the class of 2024. Following this we were addressed by the guest of honor.

Then the long-awaited moment came, each student was called onto the stage to receive their high school diplomas, a moment they have been working towards their entire life. In between each class getting their certificate, there were multiple dances, songs, and a poem recitation that moved the hearts of all who heard it.

Finally, Gowri and Jonathan gave speeches that brought the audience most of the audience to tears. Last but not least all the students of grade 12 made their way to the field of the much-awaited for cap throwing. For the remaining time, the students took pictures with friends, family, and teachers.

In a few weeks, you will be writing the board exams, and in a few months, many of you will have enrolled in college or university. Though the journey up ahead will not be an easy endeavor we know that you can rise to any challenge and make a change in this world.
